homeless cats Trap Neuter Return (TNR) OUR AGGRESSIVE PROGRAM FOR REDUCING LOCAL POPULATIONS OF HOMELESS DOMESTIC FELINES IS UNDERWAY! Beginning our third year of an active Trap Neuter Return (TNR) Program for homeless cats, PAWS began the first of a year-long series of high-volume spay neuter clinics with its first clinic in Adams County on January 21.
See more photos from the January clinic. Our higher volume clinics will be held every week beginning in March, providing spay/neuter surgery and wellness services to between 50-60 homeless cats each clinic. These clinics are free to the public and totally subsidized by client donations and PAWS fundraising efforts. Tentative calendar of dates and locations. WE WANT TO SPAY OR NEUTER AT LEAST 4,000 HOMELESS CATS IN 2006. YOU CAN HELP! Donate financially to our program to help offset veterinary expenses, or donate consumable supplies so all our funds can be directed toward surgery and veterinary supply expenses. Trap Neuter Return provides a proven-effective and humane way to control the population and provide food, clean water, and safe shelter. If you have homeless cats in your area, PAWS has humane traps for loan and offers free spay/neuter surgeries so that you can do your part in preventing suffering and saving lives. Each animal receives:
